Now includes Northern Rising! The culmination of more than a year’s worth of work between two award-winning breweries, Northern Monk and Timothy Taylor’s. Using roast barley and crystal malt in the brew, so expect a malt-forward and satisfying chocolate flavour. Golden Promise malt is also in the mix, a staple of Timothy Taylor’s cask ales, which gives the beer that trademark full body and satisfying mouthfeel. I’ve always been a great fan of Timothy Taylor beer, I can always get landlord, occasionally bolt maker but never seen the dark for sale in a shop. Have to say the dark is now my new favourite. Delivery was very quick and exquisitely packaged. I recently saw a YouTube video about good and bad beer, Timothy Taylor no.1 … natural whole ingredients and great water, how British beer used to be and should be. I’ll be using the delivery service from now on for all my beer ?
