Are You The Legal Drinking Age?
We would hate for anyone to get into trouble so we need to check that you're over the legal drinking age in your country
Our well-loved but mainly regional dark beer Ram Tam will now be sold under the name Landlord Dark.
Landlord Dark is brewed to the Landlord Pale Ale recipe but with the addition of caramelised sugars to give a rich yet light and drinkable dark ale.
This perfectly balanced mellow beer has body and depth. It has a fruity, toasted aroma with hints of chocolate, citrus and roasted malts on the tongue. Read Landlord Dark reviews to understand what all the fuss is about!
A darker shade of pale
Our full packaged range of beers and mini kegs are all certified as vegan-friendly.
All orders include the option of a FREE gift message printed on one of our lovely cartoon postcards - find out more here.

My husband recently tried Landlord Dark while on holiday in Swaledale and declared this one of the best dark ales he has ever had describing is as deep and chocolaty and extremely tasty. As a surprise I ordered some on our return to Scotland. The first order was damaged in transit and not received but an email regarding the order was very quickly answered and a new batch sent out. My husband is over the moon with his surprise.

My local source has ceased to stock this beer, so I was delighted to find that I could order it online for delivery. A smooth and flavourful drink. Thank you.

Although Landlord is widely available, I am unable to get Landlord Dark in my neck of the woods. I jumped at the chance and have not regretted it. Good value and great service.
Great beer

Always been a fan of Landlord, now have the addition of a lovely dark version. Look forward to trying it on draft

I love dark ale and I've tried it from all over the world, but I have to say this is one of the finest I have had. Well soon Timmy Taylor.
Finally found
Rich and smooth, thoroughly enjoyed. Shipped without incident and timely. Not quite the taste of the draught version from Skipton's Woolly Sheep Inn but very close. Close enough to be my favourite bottled beer. Delighted to find Landlord Dark in Sainsbury's earlier this year but disappointed when they stopped stocking it. Had hopes when Asda started to stock Landlord that they would extend to Landlord Dark but now I can order directly from Timothy Taylor it doesn't matter
